Michael J. McGuinness, CPA | Vice President and CFO

Michael McGuinness directs all financial aspects of the business including accounting practices, budgeting, financial planning, interface with the financial community, financial analysis, and monitoring of financial performance. He is responsible for upholding strong financial management and accountability while providing timely, accurate, and reliable financial information and enhancing internal control.

Michael consistently achieves favorable audit opinions and reports from external or independent auditors on the overall quality of operations under his purview. He is dedicated to promoting efficiency and excellence in operations and customer service.

Prior to joining DHA, Michael held the positions of controller and chief financial officer at large construction firms, where he developed procedures for the accounts receivable department to reduce the percentage of over 90-day receivables from 30 percent to 13 percent. He also consolidated offices, staff, inventory and facilities, resulting in a reduction of fixed costs by 15 percent and sales break-even by 13 percent.

Michael McGuinness holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
