DHA is responsible for the design of all wet and dry utilities which include miles of storm and sanitary sewer, miles of waterline, electrical duct banks and communication lines, as well as erosion and sediment control.

• 2016 Project of the Year | DC Water's Blue Plains Tunnel; DHA provided hydraulic design, civil/site services, utility relocation, permitting, and land rights acquisition services.

Staff Updates:
Michael J. McGuinness Appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO)
After eight months as serving as DHA’s Interim Chief Operating Officer, Mike was officially appointed by the Board of Directors as COO, effective January 2017. During his eight-year tenure with DHA, Mike demonstrated the ability to lead and direct all aspects of the company’s operations while successfully managing the firm’s financial services. His goals as COO are to grow and expand DHA’s engineering and program/construction management services and develop succession plans for all key management positions, thus ensuring the long-term stability of the Company.

Events:
The DC Water Rock Creek watershed project is underway with several DHA team members attending the groundbreaking on Monday, October 23rd. We're proudly supporting DC Water with PM services for the DCCR project. Thanks to DHA’s Amanda Zander for organizing the event and leading DC Water's green infrastructure incentive program!

Carol Holland, VP of PM/CM was a panel moderator at the 2017 CMAA National Conference on October 10th in Washington, DC. The education session, "How Should W/MBE Firms Collaborate with Major Prime Firms to Win a Federal or State Contract" was comprised of large and small company owners who shared their expertise in securing federal and state contracts.

Carol Holland, VP of PM/CM was the panel moderator at the 2017 CMAA Women in Construction Forum on May 9th at the Sheraton Columbia Town Center in Maryland. This forum was hosted by the CMAA Baltimore and CMAA National Chapters.
