Delon Hampton & Associates (DHA), as a subconsultant, provided program management and QA and QC leadership for review of all documents submitted to WSSC’s Infrastructure Systems Group. The agency's Consent Decree agreement with the US EPA, MDE, Anacostia Watershed Society, and other agencies requires WSSC to repair and rehabilitate sanitary sewers in Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties, Maryland.
DHA was responsible for preparing contract specifications and engineer’s estimates, preparing contract addenda, and reviewing shop drawing submittals (utilizing e-Builder software). We managed multiple Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) consultants who prepared Construction Task Order packages including the coordination of the acquisition of permits for work being performed on the various construction task orders. The review of submittals from the BOA design consultants included Concept Finalization Reports (CFR) and Design Packages, which involved drawings for the various types of pipe and manhole relocation and rehabilitation work. We also provided construction oversight of the sewer rehabilitation and relocation work and stream restoration work.
